So I tried the Makeup by Mario Matte palette

Hey Babes!

I purchased the Makeup by Mario Master mattes palette because their excellent for your makeup kit but mostly it's his humility.

This image completely caught me as an artist. We believe in the magic of all these powders and creams. We believe in the art we make and re-inventing beauty for each prize of a person that gives us a chance. Then to know that he created a brand of his own to OWN OUR industry made me realize that it's bigger than another matte palette. It's supporting our own! Yes, he's our century's beauty icon's makeup artist but that comes with so much merit. Like he did have a leg up only in that stance because MUAs like myself that our niche is everyday women it's a bit more difficult creating a brand that'll be "trusted" or sell-out immediately but it gave me hope.

Mario returned back to his SEPHORA roots and that hit home for me because I fell in love with makeup as a sephora girl. Mac was too mean and sephora was like a free for all. No hiding product or weird makeup artist staring at you as if you don't deserve that eyeshadow brush it was just so welcoming. Like, I absolutely love sephora because of the Beauty Advisor's kindness and testers on display. Those associates deserve so much more and I appreciate them for their help. Then to know the MARIO made me think I'm like him.
